Handmade Brass Urli With Enamel Work

Description

A brass Urli is a timeless vessel deeply rooted in Indian tradition, once used in heritage homes for preparing herbal mixtures and festive delicacies. Today, it has gracefully evolved into a celebrated décor accent, adorned with floating flowers, fragrant candles, or decorative potpourri to create an inviting and serene atmosphere. What makes this Urli truly exceptional is its enamel work—a meticulous decorative process where vibrant mineral-based colours are permanently fused onto the brass surface through controlled heating. Unlike engraving or embossed carving that relies on texture alone, enamel artistry introduces enduring colour and intricate detailing, allowing every motif to bloom with remarkable depth and brilliance. This colourful inlay technique transforms solid brass into a radiant canvas where metal and colour exist in perfect harmony. Each piece is patiently handcrafted by skilled Indian artisans, ensuring that no two Urlis possess exactly the same artistic expression. The luminous enamel patterns enrich the natural warmth of brass, making this creation equally suited for festive celebrations, elegant interiors, luxury hospitality spaces, pooja arrangements, and thoughtful gifting.More than a decorative bowl, this Aadishilpi masterpiece reflects the living legacy of India’s traditional metal artistry—where heritage is not merely preserved but beautifully brought into everyday spaces.
